Hi there! I'm Ashley duDomaine, the doula behind Room To Grow. I am a certifying birth and postpartum doula with an additional certification in chestfeeding knowledge and education. I am currently offering my services to individuals and families in London, ON, but I do hope to expand my outreach in the future.
My passion for birth work began as a teenager when I watched a documentary about birth culture in America. I was so interested to learn about all the differences in birth experiences and I also learned about doulas.​

I researched and learned about doulas and eventually when the time was right, I became one.

Room To Grow was born out of my desire to help individuals and families achieve the birth, postpartum, and chestfeeding experiences they were seeking. I wanted to create a space where they can access information and resources that allow them to feel empowered to make the best possible choices for themselves and their families and feel confident doing so.

Partners are just as deserving of care and support on this journey. I aim to empower partners by teaching them hands-on skills, providing guidance, and supporting their rest.

I believe that while it's important to educate and prepare for birth, things don't always go to plan, but you can trust in me to help you pivot.

When it comes to how you feed your baby, I believe that informed, supported, and empowered is best.
What is it?
I am a proud member of The Collaborative Doula Collective.

This collective is a radical and revolutionary group of doulas covering all of Ontario, Canada.
How it helps you?
This group of doulas provides a hub of information and resources no matter where you're located. I rely on them for shared advice, their experiences, and their own resources.

If I can't make it to your birth, postpartum, or you need additional help, I can rely on a backup doula to ensure you are covered throughout your experience.
